Calm and private room. Clean and comfortable. Karishma was responsive and communicated well. Good value.

Multiple problems cropped up, and I had to leave after half an hour. 1) Despite what the listing said, there is no access to shared spaces within the home. Just the walkway beside the house. 2) The fridge was full of the host's food. 2) There was a very strong smell. My eyes began stinging and I started to cough and couldn't breathe. I had to use my inhaler. I've never had this problem with an Airbnb or hotel before. I tried to work it out with Karishma and the host who was there in-person, but the person there said the cleaning service uses too much Pinesol and strong cleaning products all over, there was nothing they could do. 3) As soon as I said that unfortunately I had to leave because it wasn't safe to sleep where I couldn't breathe, Karishma stopped responding. Up to that point she had seemed like a great host, but as soon as there was a problem she just started ignoring me. Check-in was very smooth but everything after that was not as expected or even potentially unsafe.
