This place was absolutely beautiful! It was perfect for our family trip to the city with a quick drive to the ferry. The beds were very comfy and the shower was fantastic! The only hiccup we had was finding the right house, but that wasn't due to Ed, we arrived late at night in the pouring rain and none of the houses are numbered, which made it hard to figure out the correct building, but Ed described it perfectly and it was easy to get in once figured it out. Will definitely stay again.

It started out bad as there was no indication of which house it was (no civic number on the door). Once we figured it out, the code didn't work either. We tried contacting Ed on AirBNB and calling him but he didn't answer at first. After contacting AirBNB, we were able to get in touch after about 15 minutes and everything was resolved. Ed's place is clean and very accommodating and the house location at the end of a dead end is perfect to feel more secure. The old lady next door was super helpful and kind as well. We had most necessary supplies available but the lack of mirrors was a problem as well as the lack of hooks to hang towels off of. The drip coffee maker could use a serious upgrade. Great distance from the ferry and a fairly quiet neighbourhood, although the next door neighbours threw a party on Friday night until about 11 pm with music way too loud. Be aware of the possible noise on weekends. We recommend this place and would return happily with those improvements.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Ed's Place! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the attention to detail and the warm hospitality. The space was not only impeccably clean and well-maintained, but also beautifully decorated and incredibly comfortable. The host, Ed, was incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was enjoyable. The location was fantastic, with easy access staten Island ferry terminal. I highly recommend Ed's Place to anyone looking for a cozy and welcoming home away from home. I can't wait to visit again!

Le logement de Ed est tout simplement parfait. Beau grand propre, neuf, avec toutes les commodités requises. Ed est un excellent hôte, très réactif et répond très rapidement aux questions. Le seul bémol qui est tout de même à savoir, est le quartier. Malgré le fait que la maison soit située dans un cul-de-sac tranquille, le quartier lui, est pauvre et non sécuritaire le soir et la nuit. Nous avons noté la présence constante de policiers à 2 rues du logement. Malgré tout, je recommande ce très beau logement.
