Our cozy house comprises of 1 bedroom, a fully equipped American kitchen and living area, a spacious veranda and a beautifully designed garden with a pond. The property is ideally situated within walking distance from a stunning tropical beach and turquoise lagoon (100 metres), supermarkets (400 metres) and a short drive away from the Black River Gorges Natural park for nature walks (4 kms). Everything you need for a memorable vacation. The house situated on the ground floor of a residential property is equipped with one air-conditioned bedroom with a queen size bed. The bedroom falls on the garden and is one block away from the beach access. The living area includes a sofabed, a fully equipped American cuisine with utensils, kitchen cutlery, fridge, microwave, coffee machine, oven, gas plates etc. The dining area and a spacious terrace merges with the luxurious vegetation of the front garden and its relaxing pond. Seated facilities are available there to enjoy your breakfast in a refreshing and soothing atmosphere or to enjoy your dinner. This open plan living concept in a tropical setting ensures excellent air flow all year round with air-conditioning also available for the cooler nights. Ample shopping, dining and recreational facilities are available in the area. We stay occasionally in an apartment upstairs to refresh and relax and also to make sure that our guests are satisfied with everything we have to offer. Usually check in starts as from 14hr and check out at 10am. But we are flexible with regards to check in and check out times depending on bookings we have. We will strive our best to ensure that the particular circumstances of our guests will be accounted for.

Wir sind das erste Mal auf Mauritius und haben die erste Woche im Cozy Home verbracht. Wir hätten uns nichts besseres vorstellen können, denn Seb und Val waren die allerbesten Gastgeber, die man sich vorstellen kann. Wir haben uns von der ersten Minute an sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist so familiär und gemütlich. Natürlich ist nicht mehr alles ganz neu und es gibt Gebrauchsspuren. Aber für uns war diese gemütliche Atmosphäre (der 1. Kaffee am Morgen auf dieser Terrasse mit dem herrlichen Blick ins Grüne) am wichtigsten. Für alle Fragestellungen war Sepp sofort zu erreichen. Er hat uns auch bei der Vermietung des Autos geholfen. Ein Auto können wir nur jedem ans Herz legen. Mauritius lernt man so einfach am besten kennen. Restaurants und ein Supermarkt sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Auch der Strand (der allerdings unter dem Zyklon etwas gelitten hat) ist nur 2 Minuten entfernt. Die Lage für die ersten Ausflüge sind von hier optimal gewesen. Wir können Cozy Home nur jedem empfehlen.
I had an amazing stay at the apartment. Everything was just perfect, especially totally loved that the location is so close to the beach. The inside and the terrace are great, you can use and work at the terrace regardless of the weather. Inside you have all amenities you wish for (perfectly equipped kitchen, soaps, shower cream, washing machine including laundry detergent, dishwashing solution, umbrella, cooler bag etc etc), so you feel at home straight away and can enjoy your time there. Also loved that there are 2 kayaks that you can use, as it is a great place to take them out on the ocean. It’s always good to have a car in Mauritius to get around the whole island but this is one of the very few places where you don’t even necessarily need a car as there are so many shops, restaurants and the beach in walking distance. 100% recommended, will be back for sure :)
Staying at Seb's and Val's house is unforgettable. I almost do not want to write this review as it might attract more people to stay at their home - and we really would like to keep this as a hidden gem! We mainly communicated with Seb, and he is extremely friendly and helpful, as well as proactive in his communication, letting us know: "Today this will happen (like when a cyclone warning was issued :-))." The cyclone then came, and during the few days it lasted, Seb. checked in with us and made sure we were ok - which we totally were, btw. The home is truly cozy, and the garden as well. An extra treat was taking the kayaks to the beach and go kayaking. The sunsets from the local beach are incredible and the area around very nice, with mountain-views, great hikes nearby and restaurants around the corner. Seb & Val have created the most perfect setting for people to feel at home and surrounded by a very kind spirit! We envy the next ones who get to experience this very special place.
Nad očekávání skutečně útulný domov, kde se cítíte jako doma. Najdete vše, co potřebujete, vybavení bytu obsahuje i třeba nezbytné přechodky v zásuvkách, difusery proti komárům a řadu dalších maličkostí, které oceníte. Poloha bytu je také super pro podnikání dalších výletů na jih a na západ. V dosahu máte i krásnou pláž Flic En Flac, kde se dají pronajmout lehátka. Rádi doporučíme všem a rádi se i někdy vrátíme. Děkujeme. Valerie i Sebastian jsou skvělí hostitelé.
We had a lovely stay at villa cosy. We felt at home and it was the best spot to discover the west and south of Mauritius. Sébastien and Valerie are amazing host and they make sure you have everything you need. We will come back for sure ☀️
