Welcome to Lee’s Mountain Lookout, a private and charming 4-bedroom home, perfect for a large family looking for a quiet getaway or as a base for a group of traveling friends. The house is situated in the quaint community of Coarsegold and has recently been renovated with all-new carpet and flooring. It includes 4 rooms and 3 baths, as well as a spacious living/dining area and full-sized family kitchen. It is located just 26 miles from Yosemite NP’s South Entrance and 17 miles from Bass Lake. The house has a spacious living room with a comfortable couch and chairs as well as a large flat-screen TV and Fire Cube. The dining area has a 6-seat table with bar space and 2 stools, there is a wood-burning stove adjacent to the kitchen as well. The kitchen has everything you will need to prepare meals and you’ll find modern appliances including a blender and Keurig. A reverse osmosis water purifier was recently installed at the kitchen sink for drinking water. The system is also connected to the refrigerator for making ice. The bedrooms are comfortable and inviting. This house can easily accommodate up to eight guests. The main room has a California king-sized bed and its own attached bathroom. Two of the rooms, one with a California king and a work desk, and the room with the twin beds share a jack-and-jill style bathroom with a shower/bathtub. The final room also has a California king bed. There is a bathroom with a shower/tub just outside that bedroom door. All of the beds have new sheets with hypoallergenic comforters, every bedroom has blackout blinds and a spacious closet too. The back of the house can be accessed from the dining area via a sliding glass door. A teak patio table and BBQ are on the outside patio for guests to use. Also in the rear patio are Adirondack chairs perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or for watching the sun set with a glass of wine.

Our family had a lovely Christmas holiday at this spacious yet cozy home in the foothills. The four bedrooms fit us comfortably and with mild temps this year, we all loved the outdoor furniture during the day and the wood burning stove at night. The kitchen had all of the appliances we needed to make our stay delicious, and the nearby Coarsegold Market is pretty well stocked too. The host was super friendly, helpful and available, even promptly responded to my questions on the holiday itself! We will be recommending this place to our friends and fam looking for a getaway just far enough in the Sierras and only 45 minutes to a major city.

Myself & 2 other couples rented Johanna's house for a wedding we were going to just up the road so it was absolutely perfect for us! Very homey & has everything you need. The absolute best part of the house, in my opinion, is the on suite bathrooms in 2 of the bedrooms & the other bathroom is just outside the other bedroom, we put our snoring friend in that bedroom as its on the other side of the house. We didn't use the other bedroom with twin beds in it (thought there might of been stragglers who didn't have a place to stay) but it shares a bathroom with the other bedroom. All comfortable king beds with ceiling fans, which we all loved.

This is a fantastic spot! The four bedrooms were very spacious and the home feels new and clean. Johanna is a fantastic host, easy to get a hold of, very helpful, went over and beyond to help us out. I had forgotten my oars foe my boat and she was able to make some calls and found someone who could let us borrow there's. Awesome!

Great host, excellent accommodation. Johanna very responsive and made sure we felt at home. The house is fully equipped, it was very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay at the Johanna's house. We all had a wonderful time. We highly recommend this house. the house is better than what the photos show thanks Johanna
