Wow! What an unforgettable and amazing experience! Truly one of the best Airbnb stays I have ever been to. The house is an architectural gem with an open concept that brought us close to nature. We loved the full range of activities like paddleboarding, minigolf, beach club, rooftop jacuzzi, and many spots to relax. Ivan and Gloria are the most hospitable and proactive hosts, they helped us with a boat tour for lunch, hired a masseuse and ensured we felt comfortable at all times. The staff that works in the house, Isabel and Samir, were so sweet and helpful. They helped us preparing food we brought, kept everything spotless and helped us when we had questions. Electricity went out one more morning and Ivan’s staff were fully prepared! They turned on the generator, supplying energy to the house and fans. The energy came back in the afternoon of the same day. We can’t wait to stay here again!

Our recent family vacation to Isla Baru was nothing short of extraordinary, thanks to our stay at Ivan's stunning Airbnb. A serene getaway to enjoy the picturesque beaches and islands near Cartagena, Ivan's home is perfect. It's an architectural marvel that photos hardly do justice to-a true piece of art equipped with every amenity for a luxurious vacation. The warmth & efficiency of the staff, particularly Isabell & Samir, were remarkable. Their preparation of delicious meals (with local goods) to assist with day trips, played a huge role in making our vacation memorable. Ivan, as a host, exceeded all expectations. His proactive communication on transportation & his assistance in planning our activities, meals, & excursions made everything hassle-free. This level of organization made it easy for a group of 8 to get around. For anyone seeking a vacation spot in the Cartagena area, look no further than Ivan's home. Highly recommend Ivan’s home, it will be cherished for a lifetime!

We decided to stay at Ivan's beach home as the end of our trip to Cartagena (where we stayed in his Cartagena home), and it was a great ending to our stay in Colombia. Ivan arranged for transportation for us from Cartagena to the Baru home, and then to the airport. Without this arrangement, traveling to Baru would not have been possible for us, since it's about an hour away from Cartagena. We had a lovely complimentary welcome lunch provided by the staff of the home, who are incredibly kind. The house is huge and very fun! The space is more of an indoor/outdoor home, so you can close off the rooms when you wish (which we did only at night). This allowed us to lounge in the shade under a fan but still feel connected to the beautiful surroundings. The home has a lovely garden, fully equipped kitchen, and our kids favorite - 3 cats! The walk to the beach is super quick! This home is perfect for those who want a relaxing beach vacation somewhat disconnected from the outside world.

Nuestra estadía en la casa de Iván fue espectacular, el sitio es increíble y su personal muy atento y proactivo. En la preparación del viaje Iván fue clave en la ayuda y sugerencia de menús, actividades y otros. Sin duda un sitio para volver, que amabilidad y que gran servicio. Su casa queda ubicada en un paraíso, nuestra experiencia fue de 10 puntos, da gusto quedarse en sitios así. A Iván y su equipo todo mi agradecimiento y reconocimiento, recomiendo 100% la estadía en la casa de Barú. A quienes lean este review les aconsejo no dudar en rentar la casa, pasarán muy buenos momentos y estarán atendidos con un servicio espectacular. Fuerte abrazo y que mantengan su atención así tal cual, espectacular todo.

Beyond 5-star service!! Recommend to anyone looking for a world-class vacation. Ivan's communication and response time was immediate. He provided detailed recommendations during our stay in Baru as well as Cartagena. He picked us up from Cartagena, took us to a grocery store, and stopped at a fruit vendor for our hungry daughter. The house had more than everything needed. Isabelle Samir and Anna were beyond incredible and friendly, cooked delicious meals and kept an extra eye on our kids. Mateo and Jose gave a great private boat tour of the Islands. The pool is refreshingly cool and had floaties for our kids. The beds very comfortable, showers amazing, hot tub picturesque! Loved the wild life! The resort beach had coral to see plenty of sea life! If youre looking for a relaxing beach getaway there is no better option. We'll be coming back here and staying in his apartment in Catagena as well! 1000 character limit isnt enough to detail the job they did. Thank you Ivan and Gloria!
