Light-filled, spacious and air-conditioned. 62m sq. & large balcony overlooking shared Mediterranean garden. Reserved secure covered parking. Perfect for a couple looking for a quiet getaway. Well-equipped kitchen. Large new double bed. All-new furniture. Shower room. Separate WC. Lift and stair access from garage and garden. Spacious, air-conditioned with all-new furniture, the apartment is perfect for professional or retired couples. You walk into a small lobby where you can leave your shoes, and then on to the kitchen/dining room and the lounge. The private balcony is shaded in the morning through to the late afternoon so you can enjoy breakfast and lunch out of the heat of the sun. Later on you can sit in the sunshine while sipping your chilled rose wine or beer. In the bedroom there is a large double bed and plenty of wardrobe space with hangers and shelves. Blackout shutters provide for a good night's rest. In the bathroom there is a walk-in shower plus a cabinet and a small trolley for your toiletries. There is a separate WC and toilet paper is provided. There are cleaning materials, brushes and a mop should you need them. If you would like Laura to come and clean during your stay please enquire (extra charge).

We had a very enjoyable stay in Marseillan and had 2 weeks of warm and sunny weather. The apartment was exactly as listed and was very well equipped even down to an oyster knife! The apartment was ideally located for visiting the restaurants around the port. The complex in which the apartment is situated is very well maintained, peaceful and has good security. We would certainly recommend the apartment without hesitation.
Immaculately clean, well equiped and a great location. What is not to like? The next time I visit Marseillan I will stay here!

Once described as like St Tropez before the arrival of Bardot, Marseillan is laid-back, charming and unpretentious.
This small town and its port are historic and have welcomed visitors for centuries. It's a friendly, cosmopolitan place but very much a working French town with wine and oyster production on the Étang de Thau at the heart of it.
Just a few minutes' walk from the apartment you can in summer take a boat cruise to see the famous oyster farms and learn about the unique species of seahorse that have made their home here. If you prefer to see the Étang close up, you can hire a paddleboard or kayak.
Everywhere in Marseillan is accessible on foot and everything you need in the village is within a 10 minute walk of the apartment, including boulangeries, butcher, fishmonger and a small grocery store where you can buy all your essentials from shampoo to dishwasher tablets. There are also two pharmacies which are open year-round. The large supermarket is just a 5- minute drive.
Further afield there are beautiful historic towns to explore as well as plenty of cycling, walking and activities on the water.
Things slow down in the Autumn although as a fully functioning town, the restaurants and bars still open on set days of the week but with more locals than tourists.
In winter the town holds a Christmas market and various free entertainments, popular with locals and visitors alike.
Walking around Marseillan is easy as it's flat and everything is accessible on foot. To explore the surrounding area a bike is useful (they can be rented locally in the summer months).
Parking is no problem as we have secure allocated covered parking. We also have installed a ring to which you can attach two bikes (you will need to bring your own bike lock).
There are regular bus services to and from local towns and villages along the Étang.
In the summer there is a shuttle bus to/from the centre of Marseillan from Beziers airport which is timed to serve incoming/departing flights from the UK, Germany and Sweden (see the Beziers.aeroport website for details).
