Step up one flight to this bright and cheerful flat: bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. Centrally located in a leafy Toronto neighbourhood, just steps from beautiful Monarch Park (and it's outdoor swimming pool), 1 1/2 blocks from Danforth Ave. shops and restaurants, and a 7-10 minute walk to the Greenwood subway station. A 9-minute subway ride takes you to Bloor and Yonge, one of Toronto's main shopping areas. You'll love the new bathroom, with a Toto bidet, and the well-equipped, private kitchen. Guests occupy a bedroom, full bathroom and kitchen on the second floor of the house. I live on the main floor. It's very separate, and I'm very quiet but, as you would expect, you may hear some sounds from time to time.

Stewart’s place was a great find as we needed somewhere close to my sisters over Xmas. Stewart was very welcoming and happy to wait for our late arrival and provided us with coffee and milk on our arrival. The place is spotless and very comfortable, close to public transport in a quiet residential street.

This is a quiet, leafy neighbourhood in the eastern part of downtown Toronto. The house is steps from Monarch Park (and its swimming pool), 1 1/2 blocks from Danforth Ave. restaurants, cafes and shopping, a short walk to the Greenwood subway station and a 9-minute ride to the trendy Bloor and Yonge shopping area. The Beaches area, with its beautiful Boardwalk, is an easy, 9-min. by car, about 30 minutes by bus - or rent a bike at Monarch Park and ride there in 10 minutes.
Street parking is available for purchase online (24 hrs, $18.26+tax; 48 hrs, $26.39+tax; 7 days $39.58+tax.) Search "toronto temporary on-street parking permit" and find the City of Toronto site.
Bikes can be rented at Monarch Park. The Beach and Boardwalk is about a 35-min walk, 10-min bike ride. Greek town is a 25-min walk, 8-min bike ride. Little India is just south of the Park - a 20-minute walk. The Greenwood subway is just a short walk - which makes it super easy to get into the centre of town and all the great theatres, museums another attractions Toronto has to offer.
