Pros • Super comfortable squishy bed. Like the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in while travelling • Great location! • Very quiet • Safe feeling neighbourhood • Centrally located • The flat is cute, aethesticcally nice • Heater works wonderfully • Very lovely host, responsive and easy to contact • Provided nice ideas to see and do • Great self check-in. Super stress free Cons • Hidden cleaning fee of £70 • Mould in the bathroom, sink back drain and edge of shower • Bed sticks out too far. Ended up bruised. • Wifi was rubbish. Better off using data • Can't shower without water pouring out all over the bathroom. Dangerous. • Super slippery shower stall. Needs a safety mat • Broken dusty blinds • Peeling walls in a few areas • When you first enter the building there is what looks like a genuinely scary murder hallway. I was actually afraid we were being set up by an Airbnb scammer to die when we entered that hallway. • Recommendations given too late to plan for them

Unfortunately we had to check into a last minute hotel after our first night and, although David was great and attempted to resolve the issues we flagged, we ultimately had to reach out to airbnb support for a refund. Upon arrival we found the property to have a strong musty smell, likely caused by the mould in the bathroom. We also found the apartment to be extremly dusty on arrival, causing issues with allergies and asthma. The blind in the bedroom was broken, meaning sunlight flooded the room at dawn. The bed was uncomfortable and dipped heavily in the middle, either due to a broken bedframe or need for a new mattress. With a bit of TLC and perhaps a dehumidifier this could be a lovely place to stay as the location is great!
