The home was very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the closed in porch with the view of the lake and the fresh air. It reminded us of the east coast.

This place was super cute and clean and the area was very peaceful. The closed in patio area was beautiful and it was nice having kayaks included to use on the lake. There were plenty of kitchen appliances for cooking. I will say though that the dishes were not clean and there were no spices. There were also no toiletries available for guests in the bathrooms which would have been nice to know ahead of time. But altogether this place was a great stay if you’re looking for a calm and comfortable get away. The host was very responsive and accommodating!

What a wonderful property on Fish Lake! Private. Clean. With just the things you need to make travel great. I went there with my four teenagers who had a great time. One of the special treats, on a hot July night was the show of fire flies as the sun set. I have never seen fields of fire flies and there they were. We had a lovely time. I had lots of questions, and they were all answered in a very timely manner. I would come and stay again.

My family loved “Shore Thing” it was nice and clean. The home was big enough to spread out yet had that comfy “home” feeling. There are TVs in both queen bedrooms and in the living room. We enjoyed the kayaks and fishing right there in front of the house, we planned to swim but that was not an option after seeing all the “seaweed/lily pads”. We did find a cute beach about 15 minutes away (pine lake/stone lake beach) so we just drove there. This home doesn’t have a tub just a shower which made it a little difficult to bath my daughter but both bathrooms were clean and stocked with linens. The kitchen was stocked with pretty much everything you would need, we made meals everyday and the only thing we had to buy was a muffin pan. My favorite spot was the screened in porch looking out over the lake, it was nice to be able to sit in the rocking chair and drink coffee in the mornings. This home was just what we needed for a nice and peaceful week away.
