We had a lovely stay at Leo's place in Helsinki. Leo is a very responsive, helpful and friendly host. The apartment is lovely. It is located centrally, just as described, and has a lot of good restaurants, cafes and shops nearby (including grocery shops) but it is still on a mainly residential street and as such the apartment is quiet and calm, especially as it is on the 6th floor (with lift). The building itself represents typical old Helsinki style with high ceilings an spacious rooms. Despite being in the city and surrounded by other period apartment buildings, it is very private as the windows open to a park and courtyard. It is easy to walk to parks and seaside as well as to the shopping area in the city center. Or alternatively there are several tram lines to hop on. It is easy to explore Helsinki from this location, either by foot, public transportation or a car. We would definitely go back and can recommend the place warmly.

Leo's apartment exceeded our expectations! If you are looking for a modern, yet classic Helsinki experience this is your place. We felt like we were staying in a "real" Helsinki neighborhood with great cafes and restaurants a stone's throw away. A few minutes walk from the apartment is a square with several cafes, a bakery and second hand store that doubles as a cafe. We were also walking distance to every other neighborhood one would want to visit in Helsinki. The actual apartment was immaculately clean, incredibly spacious, well laid out and beautifully decorated, To top it off, Leo was a gracious host who was always available to recommend local eats and sites. There is no doubt that we will return!

Leo was a super accommodating and helpful host. We came to Helsinki for a concert at the Olympia Stadium - the apartment is an easy 15min walk away and there are 4 trams to the city center around the corner. Peaceful and safe neighborhood with nice parks nearby (incl Sibelius Monument and sea side promenade). The apartment is spacious and very thoughtfully furnished. The kitchen is modern and equipped with everything one might need. We had a wonderful time, thank you!
