This place was amazing! It was secluded with stunning pond views and frequent wildlife encounters. The screened-in porch was the icing on the cake and worth the visit alone. Inside, it was quiet, cozy, and had all the amenities needed. The location was perfect—peaceful and quiet, yet close to shopping and activities. The owners were wonderful and responsive. Although we didn't need anything since everything was provided, I know they would have been accommodating if needed. It was very pet-friendly with lots of places for our dog to explore. We couldn't ask for a better experience and will stay here every time we visit the area. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay at Sherman's Retreat! We are frequently in the area visiting family, and we have searched for this exact type of place to stay. It did not disappoint. It's off the beaten path, and it feels as if you're in your own little world. My husband fished, and my daughter and I walked the grounds and watched the ducks swim around. It was so peaceful. The cabin itself was well-appointed, beautifully updated, and extremely comfortable. We met our host, David, and he made us feel right at home. We will be back!!! Thanks David and Betsy!
