Nice small cabin with some tidyness problems The cabin was quite difficult to reach during our stay in winter because of the snow. Martin was helpful in navigating us to the cabin. When we arrived, we noticed a dirty moldy drinking cup inside the oven and presumably signs of a mouse in a kitchen cupboard. Despite these issues, the cabin was cozy, not in any way luxurious, but nice. Martin brought us water canisters, which could be used with a pump to cook and clean. There was a incineration toilet and a place to shower, but no runnig water and only a small battery pump. Again very usable but not much more. Sadly, the indoor fireplace was broken and despite turning the electric heaters to the highest setting, we felt cold during the whole stay. The bedroom had nice big blankets but no electric heaters, so it was quite cold. Sadly, Martin didn't answer satisfyingly to our complaints about the untidiness and the non-working fireplace until now after over a week since our message :(

Merci de nous avoir permis de profiter en famille (2 adultes et 3 enfants) de cet endroit exceptionnel. Nous avons adoré le logement, son emplacement et la découverte du lac, des tourbières et des forêts. Super expérience aussi pour les enfants.

Very quiet and simple place, the inside of the house is comfy and nicely decorated and the view is beautiful. The state of the garden was not what could be expected from the pictures, it would be nice to clear/order the space and cover the unfinished work around the house. If this would be done I would give it 10 out of 10 points!

Great place for the price. I had a lovely week at Martins place in end of june, and it's so beautiful there. Lot of projects going on in the garden that i would be curious to see finished/cleaned up. Overall very pleasant stay!
