My accommodation : Access: The property is well served by frequent buses. The main stop is at the end of the road (3 minutes' walk), which means that the centre and station can be reached in 20 to 30 minutes on a direct line, as well as other districts via less frequent buses (Carouge, Chêne-Bourg). There is also a direct line to Palexpo, just a few minutes' walk from the house. Centre/Vieille-Ville/Place de Neuve/Parc des Bastions/Bel-Air: 20', direct bus service Cornavin station: 30', direct bus Airport: 55', bus + train or 2 buses Palexpo: 49', direct bus stop a few minutes' walk from the house The house: dating from the 1960s, it is notable for its single-storey architecture and its warm interior with original wood, parquet, stone and tiled floors. The decor: The house is furnished mainly in wood, decorated with knick-knacks, oriental rugs and colourful elements for a style that blends the old with a return to childhood. Your bedroom: The room at your disposal is more refined than the rest of the house, with a zen touch. It has a double bed, bedside tables, a coffee table, a floor cushion and a footstool. There is space in the wardrobe for your belongings, as well as hangers, an alarm clock, speakers and a few books and a guide about Geneva. Green space: The garden is planted with fruit trees, pine, birch, cedar and a vegetable patch. Sun loungers and other garden furniture are available. Accommodation: We are two friends who live in this house (currently the second person only lives here occasionally) and are always very happy to welcome travellers and chat. Care of accommodation: We use natural, environmentally-friendly products for cleaning and maintaining the house and garden. Surroundings: The house is located in a quiet residential area. The village of Veyrier and its small shops are just a few minutes' walk away. There are also woods and walks nearby, in the vineyards for example. If you want to get a bit higher, you can even try a walk up to the mountain Salève (around 3 hours' walk) or take the cable car, which is a 25-minute walk away, just over the French border.
