In Arthur's palace you will feel like royalty. You will be immersed in an oasis of peace, in the middle of nature with a garden of 2 hectares in which you can linger. The villa is located in the vicinity of De Wijers, in Heusden-Zolder, a hiking and cycling paradise. After a day out you can enjoy the garden and wellness facilities, jacuzzi, sauna or swimming pool. There is an OFYR available. Would you like to explore the city? In only 10 minutes’ drive you reach Hasselt, the capital of Limburg. On the ground floor you enter through the hall where there is a guest toilet. When entering the living room you have a separate space with a cozy fireplace used as a reading or TV corner. The other area consists of an inviting seating area, a cozy dining room and a fully equipped kitchen with a big sliding door giving out on the terrace where you can eat outside (8p table and chairs). The upper floor consists of 3 bedrooms: 2 double rooms and 1 single room (a baby bed can be added upon request), a bathroom with shower and bathtub and a separate toilet. On the lower floor there is a spacious studio with a double bed with a private bathroom featuring a walk-in shower, dressing room and infrared sauna. The studio overlooks the outdoor pool, the jacuzzi and the beautiful garden. In total, 7 guests can stay at Arthur's Palace.

A stunning home in beautiful and peaceful surroundings. A comfortable stay for our family of 5 with plenty of space throughout the house, and extensive gardens including multiple seating areas, playground area, trampoline and the amazing swimming pool. Everything was perfect, we didn’t leave the house except for local walks and ice cream! Nikki was fantastic to organise everything we needed, including a cot and highchair for our 2 year old. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay.

Gemengde ervaring tijdens ons verblijf. We willen benadrukken dat de gastvrouw erg aardig en communicatief was, de locatie is geweldig: gelegen op een groot privé domein dat veel privacy bood en een rustige omgeving creëerde. Helaas waren we teleurgesteld over de wellnessfaciliteiten. De jacuzzi was kapot. De sauna viel tegen, deze slechts plaats bied aan 1 persoon. Dit is niet af te leiden uit de foto's of beschrijving. Het zwembad is ook geen aantrekkelijke optie. De afdekking is niet volledig, waardoor bladeren en andere rommel zich ophoopten in het water. De vloer bedekt met algen, wat de indruk wekte dat er weinig zorg aan het zwembad werd besteed. De "werkplek" voldeed niet aan onze verwachtingen. Er was alleen een woonkamertafel beschikbaar. Al met al hebben we genoten van de rustige omgeving en ruime tuin. Het is een aanrader voor iedereen die op zoek is naar een ontspannen plek midden in de natuur. Helaas voldeden de wellnessfaciliteiten en werkplek niet aan onze verwachtingen

Arthur's palace is located in Bolderberg near Zonhoven featuring the De Wijers nature reserve, also known as the land of 1001 ponds. Bolderberg is named after the hill of the same name. You walk through heathlands and between the many fishing ponds and you’ll discover one of the most beautiful views of Limburg. Straight out of the gate from Arthur's Palace you can find a connection with various walking routes at domain Bovy and domain De Kluis, only within a few minutes’ walk. For the kids you will also find a playground and petting zoo here at Bovy.
The walking and cycling maps are mapped out to guide you around. Bolderberg also has a tennis and paddle club. Or plan all your tours now at limburgs-landschap. be/bolderberg/
Cycling and mountain biking
Arthur's Palace is near the F5 bicycle highway. The villa is also a great base for exploring the ponds of Central Limburg, the fruit orchards of Haspengouw, the forest in the Kempen just of North Limburg or the hills of Hageland with the cycle route network (via nodes 301,302 or 94). Even bustling Hasselt is a nice trip with half an hour of cycling as well as Bokrijk a well know open air museum with vast playgrounds.
But the mountain biker is not left out in the cold either. Arthur's palace is located near the green mountain bike loop of Heusden-Zolder. And if you like an extra challenge, you can brave the MTB course on the adventure mountain at B-Mine in Beringen.
Circuit Zolder
Bolderberg is about a 6-minute drive from the racing Circuit Zolder. The circuit organizes various activities from motorsport to cycling and BMX. Barely a kilometer from Arthur's Palace, you will also find numerous cozy brasseries and cafés with open-air terraces in the village centre of Bolderberg. You will also find a bakery, supermarket, an authentic Frituur serving the famous Belgian fries, a sushi place, an ice cream parlor, a newsagent, a pharmacy, a bicycle repair shop, ...
For the children
There is certainly something fun to do for the children in the area. Domain Bovy with its spacious playgrounds and kids’ zoo is located only 3 kilometers from Arthur's Palace. A nice place where you can enjoy ice cream and pancakes with your kids.
The former mining terrill in Beringen is also a nice day trip. The hill has been transformed into a true adventure mountain for kids. They can climb and slide as much as they want to.
Kids and parents can also indulge themselves in Saraland, an indoor pool in Houthalen-Helchteren. They can swim, romp in the indoor playground, or play mini golf.
