Escape to our one-of-a-kind family-friendly private estate nestled on over 20 acres of breathtaking forest and trails. Relax in our charming home with a view or soak your worries away in our wood-fired hot tub. Additionally, enjoy the near by Lake Couchiching and the stunning Lake Simcoe just a short distance away from the property. The home sits on our vast acreage secluded in the forest, where you can escape the hustle and bustle of the city and immerse yourself in nature. As you enter the property, you'll notice the serene surroundings of towering trees, lush foliage, and the gentle sound of wildlife in the distance. As you step inside the home, you'll be greeted by an open-concept living area that seamlessly blends rustic charm with modern amenities. The living room features a plush sofa, a few cozy armchairs, and a fireplace to keep you warm on chilly nights. The fully-equipped kitchen features stainless steel appliances, an induction range, and plenty of counter space, making it easy to prepare your favorite meals. The 5 bedrooms accommodates up to 14 guests. The master bedroom is located on the first floor and features two comfortable double-size beds, a large closet, and an ensuite bathroom. Two other bedrooms are located also on the main floor, each with queen-size beds, shared washroom and stunning views of the surrounding forests. Downstairs are two additional rooms with queen-size bed and two bunkbeds. Outside the home, there are endless opportunities for outdoor adventure. You can hike through the surrounding forest, swim in the nearby Lake Simcoe and Lake Couchiching, enjoy the wood fired hot tub or simply relax on the lawn and soak up the sunshine. In the evening, gather around the fire pit and roast marshmallows while enjoying the starry night sky.

One of the best cottages I've stayed at! We couldn't believe we were only 10 minutes away from Orillia because of how quiet, secluded, and private this cottage is. Inside is well maintained and spacious with a lot of fun activities (board games, pool table, hot tub etc.) The host replied within minutes everytime we had a question or concern and was helpful each time. The well equipped kitchen made cooking easy and fun. I would love to come here in the summer sometime and enjoy the trails and the fire pit. Thank you Maple Cottage!
We enjoyed a peaceful weekend away with 3 generations of our family. Lots to do for all ages - the kids played in the games room downstairs and in the garage, the adults enjoyed the many reading spots, and all enjoyed the beautiful outdoors. Heating the hot tub was an adventure and well worth it once it got hot. Maple Cottage was very responsive to our requests for information. The place is well stocked with plenty of dishes, sharp knives, and appliances to make all your favourite meals. Beds were comfy and the whole place was very clean. The kids even got to see the goats on arrival! We highly recommend for a nice and easy getaway from the big city.

We were a group with children and a dog staying all together to attend a wedding in Orillia . Maple cottage had plenty of space , everything you need in a kitchen , lots of bathrooms for everyone to get ready. Could use a few more linens in the bathrooms for larger groups staying for several days. The working hobby farm on site was a happy surprise for our group, the kids enjoyed feeding the goats all our veggie ends and peels and the cows and chickens were fun to watch. All in all it was a wonderful place, we were able to walk the property a little to explore the forest and beautiful fall colours. Thanks for making our stay so easy !
