When it comes to hospitality svcs, it’s always the intangible ones I regard the most. MoRue’s Den is textbook “what you see is what you get”. Expectations were set before checking in such as how far they are from the restos and well-known diving spots, and they have ongoing construction. The tepees are what you expect from budget-friendly tepees—tight space, enough for no other purpose besides sleeping and for your things’ safekeeping, but coach JC and his company made us feel at home and more from day one. We dined, worked, and conversed with them in the common area (with emphasis on Lele’s cooking who saw no trouble in our food restrictions) with no awkward walls between us. We were not treated as guests but as friends. We went home with the desire to book them again to try other things like bonfire at no extra cost and maybe intro class in freediving. MoRue’s can be a long way from town but if this kind of experience and comfort awaits us again, I wouldn’t mind going the distance
