Die Unterkunft ist eine sehr ursprünglich gelegene und sehr saubere Blockhütte mitten in der Natur mit wirklich sehr freundlichen Gastgebern. Wir empfehlen dringend, im Hellen anzureisen, weil die Unterkunft im dunklen nicht leicht zu finden ist.

Anthony was a friendly and welcoming host, but the location was very poorly described, hopefully this will be fixed ASAP for future guests. When we eventually got there late in the evening, the room wasn't ready, so we had to wait in a dining area for a long time. We were then offered food, but no mention of the cost. the food was fine, local Kenyan village food, but when the bill was given the next morning, it was shocking how expensive it was for village food. The room was nice, but overall, I think the price point did not reflect the level of service and customer experience. I hope the host can keep improving the service levels, as it has potential to be a decent layover stay. I would advise lowering the price point, to attract a higher volume of guests, so that the staff can get more experience, and the guests will have lower expectations for the price.

We had a wonderful time at Anthony‘s place. We had a typical dinner and a very good time at the fireplace. The accomodation was very charmant, comfortable and clean. We definetly could recommend this place.

A really fantastic room in a beautiful location. The room looked exactly like the pictures - beautiful classic thatched rotunda but with very comfortable bed, hot water, 24hr electricity etc. Location is beautiful and close enough to Nairobi for a great weekend trip, also a perfect stop on the way between Nairobi and Arusha. They even have their own farm so all the food is very fresh! You can book with confidence - this is a lodge with very high standards and everything is in good condition.
