Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Located almost at the tip of the Whangaparaoa Peninsula, right next to Shakepear Regional Park and Army Bay, this little self-contained studio will be a perfect spot for a staycation or a comfortable base allowing to enjoy Hibiscus Coast's glorious beaches, walks and golf courses. Relax with a cup of tea on the sea facing deck or enjoy one of the beautiful cliff walks nearby. The studio is located on the ground level of the house, with a separate entrance through the terrace door. The space is perfect for 2 guests with the main queen bed but there's an option of a fold-out sofa being added, which adds another queen bed. The space has its own bathroom with a shower and the guests are welcome to use the washing machine as well. Currently, there is a kitchenette available (no sink) but will suffice to prep a cup of tea or coffee (both coffee and a selection of teas available). You can open up the terrace door and enjoy the sea view on the deck or enjoy an afternoon snack in the garden by the studio. Parking is free and available right by the studio door. Wifi is available as well.

Our airbnb stay was great :) The owner was super cool and made sure we had everything we needed. The view was stunning, and we could easily walk to the bus stop, which was a plus. The place was spotless, and they even had the sofa bed ready for us before we arrived. They were quick to respond to messages and gave us great tips on what to do in the area. Overall, it was a top-notch experience!
Beautiful view, great quiet neighborhood, perfect apartment if traveling alone or for a couple. Check out Shakespeare Regional Park for great hiking and the Kitchen Door for amazing pies!

Increíble lugar. Hermosos detalles. Las fotos coinciden con la realidad. Todo 10/10. De todo para hacerte sentir cómodo. Refrigerador, cafetera, te, lava loza, canasta para picnic, buena decoración, vista al mar, tranquilo, silencioso, cama cómoda. Una mini casa en donde sentirse muy cómodo.

The studio is located at the end of a cul-de-sac, right next to the Pacific Parade Reserve. It's a very quiet and calm residential area with houses nestled in established gardens and native birds roaming around. The neighborhood offers a variety of great walks and is a perfect jump-off point for the Shakespear Regional Park.
It's a great spot for kayaking, paddle boarding, and snorkeling. Wind and kite surfers are also a common sight in Army Bay especially with Easterlies blowing onshore, making it a perfect spot for some fun on the water.
Army Bay Beach has a boat ramp as well and is a great fishing spot.
On the other side of the peninsula, Gulf Harbor offers boat trips and a ferry ride directly to Downtown Auckland.
Public transport is available from Whangaparaoa Road (6 min walk to the bus stop) but the area is best explored on foot or by car if you're wanting to visit one of the local beaches. Bikes are a great option too as the area is pretty calm and there are lots of lovely nooks to explore.

- Cliff walk - Pacific Parade Reserve to Fishermans Rock Reserve - 40-minute return walk
