The owner falsely advertises on AirB&B that he has an airconditioned house which is a lie. In his house manual he even admits that the main house does not have airconditioning. There is a guest bedroom separate from the house that has a small AC unit but the main house does not. It’s summer in the south of France and we picked this house primarily because of the AC, we know how hot it can be at night. We were not able to get the temperature down lower than 26 Celsius or almost 79 Fahrenheit in the kids bedrooms upstairs. Needles to say it made for uncomfortable nights. The house is beautiful but if we had known in advance there was no airconditioning in the main house, we would not have chosen this for our family holiday. The owner has to date, 8 days after our first complaint, not replied to our questions / comments and neither is he replying to AirB&B. We are still waiting for a resolution.
