We booked and paid for this home in good faith for the July 4th, 2023 weekend for our family of 12. Our children all arranged to take time off from work for the holiday to be together and vacation with extended family in the area. Our cars were all packed - not an easy task as we have four infants in the family. Twenty-four hours prior to us leaving , the owner called me to tell me he had double booked his home and subsequently cancelled our reservation. If the situation was reversed we would have lost all of our money that was previously paid. This cancellation came even after confirming our expected arrival with me the day before and providing the entry code! A total disappointment which left us scrambling to find another Airbnb at the last minute at an additional expense. Very disappointed and unreliable - I would never take a chance on this property again.
