El alojamiento fue más o menos como lo esperado, la atención de Michael a nuestra llegada fue excelente, nos ofreció toda la información del apartamento además de los tours que se ofrecían. Al llegar la mayor partes de las áreas estaban limpias, pero en las habitaciones los mosquiteros, los respaldares de las camas estaban llenos de polvo y en el baño faltaba jabón para manos; por otra parte la refrigeradora en la parte inferior no enfriaba, solo el congelador por lo cual había que ver como distribuir la comida para poderla mantener fría. Se debe tener en cuenta que la propiedad se encuentra en la naturaleza por lo cual se pueden ver lagartijas, arañas y mosquitos alrededor de esta y recomiendo llevar repelente. A 10 minutos de la casa se puede encontrar el hotel en donde pudimos hacer paddle y utilizar los kayacs sin costo alguno. Es un lugar tranquilo por lo cual si eres de las personas que va a desconectarse será una opción para ti.

Michel and all of the staff at Al Natural Resort are wonderful. The apartment has everything you need for a relaxing time at the beach. Enjoy the view from the balcony and hearing the waves during your stay. Being able to use the facilities of the nearby Al Natural Resort was an added bonus. We would highly recommend this place.

We had a really nice 7 night stay at La Residence. It’s huge. We had the top floor 3 bedroom unit – lots of steps up. There are two one bedroom units below. The unit looks exactly like it does in the pictures, very simply furnished and was comfortable for the 4 of us - 2 couples aged over 50. When looking for accommodation on Airbnb I always really read the reviews for tips and insights – so hopefully this is useful. Before arriving we were a little worried about no air-conditioning but we found the fans more than adequate and even slept with a light blanket at night. We only had hot water one day – the rest of the time the water was luke warm but with the hot weather this was ok. There were no screens on any of the windows but we found there were few bugs or mosquitos. The beds were comfortable – on the firm side but we all slept well. There are no curtains or blinds in the bedrooms so if like us you are used to dark bedrooms you do tend to wake up early but hey you are in paradise. The walls also do not go all the way to the ceiling so there is no noise privacy! The disappointment for us was the beach out the front of the apartment. It was nothing like the pictures. I wanted to walk out my front door and flop into the water but there is now a stone break-wall making this impossible. Obviously a big storm had hit the beach at some time and rock boulders have been installed. The closest swimming was a 150 steps to the left or further to the right is another lovely long stretch of beach. Not that far but a real hassle if you wanted to take all your gear and the beach lounges to sit on and also to launch a kayak. Swimming from the beach was lovely though, it was shallow for a long way out and we were amazed how clean the water was and free from rubbish. We really loved the lovely sweet dogs that you meet. Not aggressive at all and they just want attention. One adopted us for our stay and we spoilt him rotten. We ate twice at the resort which was ok. After many trips to Belgium where the food is unbelievable, my pre-trip visions of delicious and fabulous food prepared by the Belgium chef were unfortunately not fulfilled. The food was fairly simple and had no real Caribbean slant – one night was Indian. The resort really is a long 10 minute walk and you definitely need torches to get back at night. There was no offer of a boat ride back. We also ate one night at Azure Paradise Resort which was twice the price but you had a choice of what to order and they sent a boat to pick us up and take us back...
