The dining area and kitchen face the water with the dining area opening onto the deck for relaxed outdoor dining.

Amazing and quite place. Sunrise view in the morning was beautiful. The place is clean and fresh. Kitchen and all the amenities are fully functional. Highly recommended and we are coming back to this place again.

One of the best Airbnb’s I have ever been to. Everything as described in the listing. The wind-chime on the patio had our heart when we heard it for the first time. Andrea and her family were very welcoming and her son Thomas even helped us to get things around when we were trying to start a fire. We will be returning back
Andrea’s place is easy to find and she describes everything detailed which made us knew everything before we arrive and that was very helpful and saving time. We spent two nights in her house and had a very nice weekend with peaceful surroundings. Kids also have many things to do there even in the winter. I highly recommend Andrea’s place to people who are looking for a place getaway and to have a peaceful holiday here.

Located on the eastern end of the village on the South River/Forest Lake. Walk to Tom Thompson Park, tour the grounds, use the disc golf course, or take advantage of the boat launch. Gateway to the northern access to Algonquin part.
There is free street parking throughout the village. You may prefer to use a vehicle to get around the village, as the house is a 15 minute walk from the village center.

My husband and I moved to this northern location in early 2016 for his work. I work full-time supporting people with developmental disabilities and part-time as a bookkeeper. We have 6 children and 5 grandchildren; this private unit gives them accommodation when visiting us, but we wanted to share the space with AirBnB guests as well.
