This is the worst experience ever. Never ever have I had a worse experience when being a customer. I made a booking for wrong dates and immediately cancelled and told the host that I could not travel on these dates. The host refuses to give me any of the money back even if they could. Not even the cleaning fees. We could not get in direct contact with the host, the company Interhome is blaming the host for not helping us or not giving the slightest of our money back. Airbnb is not helping either, telling us different reasons for not being able to refund us any of the money, not even the service fee. I made a stupid but honest mistake and neither the host, Interhome or Airbnb has seemed interested in trying to help us. I will never book through Interhome and has stopped being a loyal and happy Airbnb customer. The host chose to keep all the money for a weeks stay, even though they knew we had no chance staying in the house. Really disappointing.
