Richard was one of the most attentive Airbnb hosts I’ve ever met. We were 3 couples and rented 2 apartments from him as well as his Bed and Breakfast in Samana. Richard is proactive, communicative and overall the definition of HOSPITALITY. All 3 couples agreed that we would stay anywhere where Richard was the hosts. Do not hesitate to rent from this gentlemen. It was a great experience!

Francis is the caretaker of Richard's apartment complex as of only two weeks ago. He and Josue (maintenance) are wonderful people! The apartment itself is coming along but as of our stay it was not quite there yet. Francis understood this and was very accommodating and he made us breakfast on the house for the troubles. Both these gentlemen are very approachable, kind, and helpful (and on-site!) so ask them for whatever you need. The beds are comfortable and the view is amazing, overlooking the marina and bay. Minor issues at the time of our stay: the apartment had an internet problem (that they resolved after 2h), the kitchen had no gas (spoke up & they went to replace it), and there was no hot water but they said they will fix that in the next few weeks. It's a quiet and safe place, simple set-up, but at the time of our stay I'd say it should have been listed for just a little bit less until it comes together.

Richard is very helpful and friendly, the location is very nice and has an amazing view of the ocean from the balcony
