This was my third stay at Lorna's -- I live an hour away, and treat this as my getaway whenever I need a brief break from the chaos of my toddlers. This time I brought my laptop and worked during the day, and the internet was consistently strong. But the evenings in this peaceful place are my favorite -- with the fire on and lights turned low, I had hours of uninterrupted reading time. So special.

Unfortunately, we weren't able to stay at Lorna's due to an unprecedented power outage in Boulder. However, Lorna was extremely accommodating and proactive. We were able to cancel our reservation and receive a full refund, AND when the power returned, Lorna offered her place to us again. Additionally, in the event that we wanted to stay at her place regardless, she offered amenities to use/help considering the circumstances. I hope to one day book again with Lorna at her place.

Lorna’s place was the last stop of our road trip back to Texas from Montana, and we ran into a huge snow and wind storm on the way in. She checked in on us multiple times on the drive to make sure we were alright and to check what we needed. She was more than accommodating and hospitable. It really felt like we were visiting family. Lorna is also very good at anticipating what her guests need and exactly what the airbnb host community represents.

I was visiting the area to tour the University of Colorado Boulder and Lorna’s Airbnb was the perfect location for me (about a 12 min drive to East campus). I was traveling alone and felt super safe in this neighborhood. I was arriving later than the check in time and it was super hot out so Lorna went above and beyond and opened my windows to keep things cool. Lorna was great at communicating and getting back to me quickly whenever I had a question. Such a cute spot, would highly recommend!
