This is an amazing place to relax and unwind. The host is incredibly welcoming and explains everything clearly at the check-in. Right from our initial enquiry through until check-out, our host was great. He went above and beyond and arranged for items I’d requested to be at the property when we arrived. The property is immaculate inside and out. Genuinely. Everything was spotless and the interior design exceeds its portrayal in the listing’s photographs. If you’re looking for some tranquility and want a real beauty of a property, this is it.

Mels lakeside Lodge is an amazing place to unwind and take in the stunning views from all around. The hot tub looks out onto the Loch which is so peaceful. The accommodation had everything and more than you need. very clean. I would definitely return.

It was my first time in Scotland and Mel’s place was the best first impression! The lodge was extremely comfortable (nice beds, soft towels, great temperature) and sparkling clean. The kitchen was very well equipped and we loved sitting on the sofa watching the lake or enjoying the hot tub. Mel’s welcome basket was incredible and offered everything we needed for a couple of days. His flexibility made us really enjoy our stay and the recommendations were also spot on. All in all, fantastic place to relax and great host. Hope to be back soon!
