Loved this apartment stepping out into a pool and a sitting area that was private and beautiful. Ruben keeps the grounds always PERFECT and is a lively man. Elsie anything I needed you had for me quickly. But your place was well equipped to begin with. The location is also perfect. So close to the Malecon. Next to the beach. The auto progreso bus got us to Merida a few times. Only 25 pesos. A didi (like Uber) is cheap. I loved the bikes to get around. Weather was amazing. Now if only I could learn Spanish….. thanks Elsie. Everything was better even than expected and the Mexican people were wonderful neighbours

We really loved our stay here. We stayed for three months and the location was perfect for walking and restaurants. The caretaker Rueben was very friendly and helpful and he kept the grounds and pool really clean. The living room furniture and the linens could use an upgrade. The sofa and chairs were a bit uncomfortable. More and newer towels would be helpful. The kitchen was fully equipped and the quality of pans were more than adequate. The owners were wonderful and very attentive to our needs. They picked us up at the airport at a very late hour which was very appreciated. Anything we needed they responded quickly! The only thing we found a bit difficult was that the way that this condo is situated, it isn’t as private as we would have liked. You are right in the middle of all the action, and right next to the pool. This might be perfect if that is what you want. We recommend staying here for the location, the cleanliness and the nice people.

Pasamos excelentes vacaciones en casa de Elsie, ambiente hogareño, cocina bien equipada, privacidad. Áreas comunes impecables. lugar para aparcar el auto. Toda la zona de Puerto Progreso es SEGURA, LIMPIA y con gran variedad de pasar a sus restaurantes, nos gusto mucho VIÑA DEL MAR. Gracias por todo Elsie, regresaremos pronto, hay mil cosas por seguir disfrutando en Yucatan. Abrazos de Mau, Ana y míos.

We love the building and the pool were always clean. We like to walk so it wasn’t bad to go towards the pier and to the market, every day, it may be a little far from some people but, you can call a DiDi which is a car service and is very affordable. Elsy was very responsive to any questions. We had a great time while there. The only problem to us (nothing to do with the place ) was that there’s no beach across the street, the water, has come almost all the way to the buildings, so you’ll have to walk down the road towards the malecon, and pay specially, if you need shade to enjoy the beach.
