What if you could stay in Siquijor island as if you are just living in your own home, with full access to the whole property and its amenities. Bantang Hut is a native hut perfectly installed on a hill surrounded with natural lush greenery and a breath-taking panoramic view of the ocean. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. 2-storey native hut: upstairs 1 bedroom, terrace and a hammock view deck; downstairs open-air dining area, kitchen and 2 hammocks installed. it can get very windy and cold up here, and when it rains it is best to stay inside the room as the wind could get strong and not a good idea to chill downstairs unless you dont mind getting some of the drizzles. bathroom is a separate structure with abundant water supply equipped with large barrels for water storage in case of emergencies. the yard has a vegetable garden, chill-out area, pit fire which can also be used for grill and bbq activities as well as bonfire. pls just exercise caution considering what the hut is made of. solar lights available, strong network signal & data is good, radio is available if you like that classic feel.

Wir haben uns in Leos Hütte sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist ein wunderbarer Ort um auf Siquijor abzuschalten. Für das WLAN muss man extra zahlen und es gibt keine Dusche. Uns persönlich hat das sehr gut gefallen. Leo war sehr hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich. Er hat uns viel geholfen. Der Weg zur Unterkunft ist nur für geübte Rollerfahrer.
Leo’s hut was a very special place with and incredible view! Checking in went smoothly because Leo waited for us at the port to rent a motorcycle with us and bring us to the hut. The hut really is a getaway place since it’s really deep into the woods and far away from any people. It can be very windy and also cold during rainy days but that makes it cozy too. Perfect for some time alone and to reconnect with your surroundings. :)
We had an amazing time in the hut. Even though it’s difficult to get to, the surroundings and the view are worth it!

If like us, you are not a fan of sleeping in a lodge like cattle in a barn, this place is for you. Its your private little sanctuary on top of a hill with the best view of the island. If you enjoy being self dependable you will be very happy here. The acces is as the house, a little adventurous but perfectly doable by scooter. Don’t miss out on this unique accommodation. few neighboring houses from 100-150 meters away from the property, so you can expect a truly private, secluded place. Situated within an area of 6000 sqm, you will pass through the bushes and trees, and road is manageable for motorbikes.
Road is not a problem. around 15mins. from siquijor town. But from the main road going to the property you may encounter few bumps, and it can also get a bit muddy and slippery when it rains.
