The property is in a lovely location with the main attractions an easy drive away; it is very clean and tidy with a lovely aspect. You will find all the usual creature comforts and the hosts, Shaleen and David, are just a ‘phone call away if you need them. They left some goodies for us on arrival and, being family oriented themselves, they are aware of what makes a memorable family holiday. It definitely deserves a five-star rating.

Lovely cottage , nice walks from there to the deer park and waterfalls and Levens hall for a bite to eat . Great location to visit other parts of the Lake District . Lovely open fire and appreciated the extra logs . Had plenty of cooking utensils . Our grandson loved his room with the space ceiling light .

Amazin little cottage, very clean and cosy with beautiful decor. Shaleen is super responsive and ready to help answer all your questions. There is a nice recommandation booklet with all the lovely places to see around you although if you are coming to the Lake Disctrict everywhere is beautiful. The house is very comfirtable and has eveything you need. Shaleen also set up a Christmas Tree and Christmas lights outside so it was the perfect atmosphere on arrival. There is lovely walks to be had just 5 mins away from the house and straight into the woods and the beautiful rolling hills with spectacular views. We really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend.

The cottage was beautiful and in a peaceful location, Shaleen was responsive and friendly, couldn't ask for anything more! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful, creatively decorated house, with a fun family garden. Shaleen’s house is a well equipped family home with books to entertain the whole family, lots of children’s toys and games and even a calming children’s night light. Shaleen’s artistic touch runs throughout her family home. She’s a thoughtful host, providing clear directions and helpful communications. Her home is a great base to explore the Lakes and a fun treasure trove to return to after the day’s adventures.
