Where to go:Bajer lake,Vrelo cave,National park Risnjak,Golubinjak forest, Zeleni vir,Vražji prolaz,Kamačnik canyon,Vrata Adrenaline Park In the lower part of the house there is an open space living room with access to the terrace, a kitchen and dining room and a bathroom with a shower cabin 80x110. You climb the stairs to the attic where there is a large double bed 180 cm wide and 2 beds of 90x200 and absolute silence awaits you. In the back yard of the house there is an outdoor grill, a wooden gazebo, a swing that can be lowered into a bed where you can read, meditate, sleep and enjoy the outdoors all day.

Casa Monte je vrlo ugodna i lijepa kuća u kojoj smo se osjecali kao doma. Nauživali smo se u prirodi i šetnji oko jezera koje je vrlo blizu kuće i odmorili smo se. Ivanine upute kako doći, što možemo vidjeti i gdje ići jesti bile su nam baš korisne. Definitivno se opet vraćamo!
Proveli smo predivan obiteljski vikend u ovoj prekrasnoj planinskoj kućici.Sve je bilo izvanredno - od estetike kuće, udobnosti i gostoprimstva vlasnika. Kućica je očaravajuća, s toplim drvenim interijerom koji stvara ugodnu atmosferu. Sve je bilo uredno i čisto kada smo stigli, a prostor je bio dovoljno prostran da se svi osjećamo udobno. Opremljena je sa svim potrebnim sadržajima, od kuhinjskih aparata do igara za djecu, što je bilo savršeno za naš obiteljski bijeg. Komunikacija sa vlasnicima bila je iznimno jednostavna i prijateljska. Bili su brzi u odgovaranju na naša pitanja i pružali su nam korisne informacije o okolici, aktivnostima i restoranima. Veselimo se povratku čim padne snijeg,vjerujem da je njezin ugođaj zimi čaroban.
Sve pohvale za predivan smještaj na savršenoj lokaciji (mir, priroda i tišina) i ljubazne domaćine koji su nam sve detaljno objasnili :)
Ivana was greate host. Although unfortunatelly we could not meet as we arrived a bit later to the cabin than expected we could always reach her by message. She guided us through the accomodation process and gave us plenty of tips what to do and visit in the area. We felt really welcome to their place. Ivana did renovate the cobin together with her husband and we could feel they put lost of efforts and love to the work. The cabin was super cozy. Can reccomend to everyone who wants to spend the vacation away from the rush of city enclosed by beautifull nature nearby. Thank you for a vonderfull vacation! All the best

The street where the house is located, Ulica Svetog Jurja 41, is very quiet, no one lives there, so it may happen that you are completely alone in the neighborhood, and it may happen that you meet a neighbor.
A 5-minute walk from the house is the shop "Valentin", which is open Monday-Friday 7am-8pm, Saturday 7am-3pm, Sunday 8am-12pm.
The next, larger store is located in Fužine.
5 minutes by car from you is the beautiful lake Bajer, around which there is a large promenade, exercise equipment, children's playgrounds... or you can rent bicycles on the lake itself and cross the lake by bicycle. Next to the lake itself is a wonderful and attractive Vrelo cave...don't miss it when you are so close. In Lič itself is the Šumska bajka excursion site... children's toys, animals, places for barbecues... idyllic, yet so close.
Explore natural beauty (Risnjak National Park, Kamačnik Canyon, Zeleni Vir, Devil's Pass, Roswell Cowboy Village, Kupjak Mountain Park, Platak, Čogrljevo Lake).
The sea is 30 km from you: Novi Vinodolski, Selce, Crikvenica, Jadranovo, the island of Krk, Rijeka, and Opatija is not far away either.
If it's summer - after a whole day in the heat, you can't wait to get back to a pleasant 25 degrees, and in the evening you'll cover yourself with a duvet and say to yourself: "I'm so glad I'm not under air conditioning all day and all night." Every year, we flocked to the sea, which meant closing ourselves in the house from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., sitting under the air conditioner and "catching the air". The annual was coming to an end, and we were getting more and more nervous, is this it, have I been waiting for this all year? Until we discovered Gorski kotar! You can be outside all day, go to the sea, walk and enjoy the natural beauty without being on the verge of passing out from the heat.
Treat yourself to local food: our favorite restaurants are: Vagabundina koliba, Vera, Bitoraj, Arnika, Volta and Eva.
Buy local products (milk, skripavac cheese, fruit yogurts made from chickpeas, carrots, oranges, strawberries...potatoes, eggs, honey...).
"Happiness is being with nature, looking at it and talking with it."
It's extremely quiet here. You will rarely meet a car through our sleepy village.
Parking is free and is located right in front of the house.
The shop "Valentin" is located further down in the village, 5 minutes' walk from the house.
