Nice place… beautiful sunset spot.
We spent 3 months in Costa Rica and booked a full month in Marbella in Rocio’s home. We absolutely loved our time here and it was definitely the best accommodation we had during our entire trip. The home was fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable long term stay. We enjoyed surfing at the nearby beach after our days of remote work. The area was very peaceful and isolated, with the closest supermarkets being about 1 hour away but you can get the basics with the mini market just 10 minutes away. Highly recommend for anyone who is looking for a more serene experience of costa rica, away from crowds.

If your idea of heaven is an exotic tropical beach, Marbella certainly answers that description. Marbella is a rural area with a laid-back atmosphere which is becoming a destination hotspot for world travelers.
Ideal location to relax in a small town, while enjoying nature and adventure in less crowded near by exotic beaches and best surfing spots. ~15/20 min to San Juanillo/Ostional. 35 min to Nosara
and ~1h to Avellana/Tamarindo.
DIRECTIONS TO MARBELLA, GUANACASTE:
It’s as easy as searching for Lomas del Sol Condominium, Marbella, Guanacaste in Waze APP, and it will take you directly to the gated community at the top of a hill looking at the ocean in Marbella.
IMPORTANT: Please do inform the Host by message on Airbnb, of the names of the people included in the reservation, in order to inform the Condominium security booth so that they do not have any inconvenience when entering the Condominium on the day of check-in.
ARRIVING AT MARBELLA:
To get to Guanacaste and Marbella, you will find a road on optimal conditions most of the time. Once you finally enter the rural area via Marbella, there will be approximately 10 Kilometers / 20 min of unpaved road ( ballast ). For this section of the road and to visit nearby exotic beaches (San Juanillo, Playa Escondida, Ostional, Nosara), it is recommended that you use a SUV or 4x4 car vehicle to visit the area, especially during the rainy season when some parts of the unpaved road can deteriorate.
Frijolar beach is the closest at less than 5 min drive from the condominium. Here you can find the town’s most popular beach restaurant Tiki Hut, right in front of the beach.
Local mini markets are 5 min drive from Lomas del Sol.
LOMAS DEL SOL CONDOMINIUM
Most exclusive gated community in the area with 24/7 security and restricted access only for owners and authorized guests. The condominium has a social area with a large pool, and another one for childres. Chill out areas spaces to relax, meditate and sunbathe. Its streets are ideal for walking, jogging.
One of the Condominium rules is to respect the private property of the other condominiums, so it is forbidden to enter the other houses of the Condominium without authorization from the owners.
