Located on 5 acres just 10 minutes to downtown Nashville. You and your guests will create lasting memories by the multiple fire pits, host a family gathering or romantic couples weekend, soak in the hot tub, or enjoy the beautiful sunsets sitting around the campfire. This property is located near several hiking trails, local farmers markets, and of course the iconic Broadway! Enjoy living like locals do on this truly magical property! And say hello to our miniature donkeys, Piper and Archie! Bedroom 1: King size bed and full bathroom suite. Double doors that lead out to the covered patio and hot tub. This room also includes a queen size memory foam fold out mattress for additional guests Bedroom 2: King size bed with views of the front of the property. Bedroom 3: Queen size bed with views of the back of the property, fire pit and garden. Bedroom 2+3 share a full bathroom. The 'pink bathroom" is original to the home. Kitchen: The kitchen is equipped with a 1960s original's GE dual oven, original sink, dishwasher and refrigerator. The kitchen comes fully stocked with all your pots, pans, dishes, silverware, crockpot and common spices for anyone who enjoys cooking during their stay. Coffee bar/Pantry: The home comes with a Keurig coffee maker, French press, hot water kettle, stocked K-cups, a lemon/lime commercial squeezer(for our margarita lovers!) and microwave. The cabinets above and below the coffee maker are used as a pantry. You can find these items in the kitchen eye or above the microwave in the upper cabinets. Laundry: The home has a washer and dryer located just off the kitchen. We keep laundry pods stocked in the cabinets if needed. We have hangars in the laundry room and the closets. Bar: The home includes a bar with a wine/beer fridge and fully stocked wine glasses, decanters, whiskey glasses, wine openers, etc. This is also where we keep the lighters for the bonfire or grill. We also keep several decks of cards in the top bar drawer. Patio:The home has a full back patio with multiple couches, chairs and tables for gathering. It also includes a gas fire pit table and gas heat lamp ( heat lamp in the winter months) (we keep the gas tanks stocked for guests). You have access to a weber grill on the patio as well. We have an outdoor smart tv that hooks up to all your major apps. It is located under the covered patio near the couch and hot tub. Backyard: The property has a full wood burning fire pit, complete with stocked logs for guests to use(located on the side of the patio). The wood fire pit is equipped with 6 adirondack chairs for lounging fireside. You will also find a picnic table near the garden to sit and relax. Depending on the time of year the garden will have a variety of vegetables and herbs. Help yourself! Cato creek runs along the right side of the property and along the front of the property if you enjoy a walk along the creek. Hot Tub: The hot tub can fit up to 6 people and is located under the covered area of the back patio just off the master suite. Please keep the hot tub covered before and after each use. We have string lights under the covered patio. Those can be turned off and on using the plug on the upper deck. This also controls power to the outside TV and to a fan in the donkey shed (green plug. Please keep that plugged in). Miniature Donkeys: The Cato Property is home to 2 miniature donkeys, Piper and Archer. The donkeys remain in the fenced back pasture but are friendly and will likely greet you at the fence. They love apples and carrots! We ask that you keep them in the back fence area but you are welcome to pet them if they come up to the fence. Please remain out of the back pasture to respect the donkeys home. If you’d like to give them treats, they prefer chopped apples and carrots.
