We (two couples) visited Martine and Roy's place to view the solar eclipse of 2024, and Chambly was the perfect home base for our relaxing weekend. I can honestly say the photos didn't do this place justice -- this is a spotless, gorgeous, spacious guesthouse at the end of a quiet road that is still walkable to parks, restaurants, and more. They provided so many amenities -- toiletries, coffee, cooking ingredients, games, bluetooth speakers, etc. -- and we greatly appreciated the welcome basket of snacks and wine after our 5 hour drive! It was easy to find per our hosts' instructions, and easy to get into the house. Our hosts were also very gracious with providing recommendations for things to do in town. We spent time walking the parks, visiting the recommended shops and restaurants, and driving out to the east to visit some nature trails. Definitely visit Tre Colori pizza and FG Chocolatiers. Chambly is a lovely town with lovely people. We hope to return again.

Every now and then a NHL hockey player scores a goal in his very first game. This was one of those occasions… We were honored to be the first guests at this lovely airBNB, and our hosts scored on their first time in the game. Everything was as described and Martine and Roline provided clear instructions (with photos) on where to park and how to get into the house using the smart lock). Super easy. Great location within striking distance to the Fort and old town, incl. Tre Colori (the best pizza known to man; they also deliver). We jogged along the canal right behind the property, and along the Basin. Everything in the home is new, including high-end washer and dryer, well-stocked kitchen and large comfy beds for the four of us. The luxurious bathroom has radiant floor heating. Lots of light from large picture windows. My daughter loved staying in the loft. We also played board games in the spacious living area and watched Netflix in the large-screen tv. We will come back!
