What a fabulous place Lidene Lodge is, absolutely stunning, inside and with the most incredible views looking out across the fjord and valley below. Our stay was over Christmas and we had a very white one with plenty of fluffy white snow which made it all feel even more special. The house had been decorated for Christmas too which really added to the feel of the cabin at this special time of year. The two living spaces were great as if you wanted to watch tv in the evening it left the main living space for those who wanted to chat and play games etc. The kitchen was very well equipped for our two family's who are also keen cooks. We loved the sauna and used it daily to follow with a snow plunge! It really was the perfect place and it will be forever in our memories as it gave us a very special Christmas. Henning’s cabin was the perfect base in our road trip, with plenty of nature highlights within short distance. The surroundings were just amazing and the house was designed and decorated with such good taste that we felt even better than home. I’d recommend it to anyone, it cannot let you down. We had a wonderful stay at Marianne and Henning's cabin in Stryn. Their home is spacious, well-equipped, comfortable, and the view is outstanding. A perfect location for our week exploring western Norway. The upstairs space was great for our sons to have some private space to hang out while we relaxed downstairs. The cabin is easy to find - definitely refer to the photos of the road in the listing when first driving up to the house (we did not) and ended up missing an important turn (our mistake). While in Stryn we easily made day trips to Andelsnes via Trollstigen, Gieranger to hike, and Jolster for a glacier walk. Our hosts also made some great recommendations for other drives nearby. We enjoyed being able to grill outside and prepare family meals at home. From the cabin, you can walk up the ski hill (in summer) for an even more spectacular view of the valley. We highly recommend Marianne and Henning's home and hope we have the opportunity to return in the future.

Henning and Marianne house is amazing very clean,very spacious and the views from the top of the mountain is breathtaking. The availability of a sauna is a plus during the cold days. We enjoyed the stay a lot! The house is quite difficult to locate but once you find it you don’t want to leave the house and it had everything we want! Thank you again Henning &Marianne.
