Sonder was not difficult to find. It was clean, smelled nice, fairly quiet on the 4th floor. The place is extremely small and the only comfortable place to sit down and have a chat is the bed (which is actually very comfortable). It's a room to go to shower and sleep only - which is why I marked the pricing as an "ok deal". Main problem to me was how extremely difficult it is to park, and the parking garages around there are so expensive. We paid so much money on parking, we might as well had been in a nice hotel with valet service. We finally found a street parking spot in our last day because we woke up early and waited for a spot to open. Then we just proceeded to take Ubers everywhere (more money). This was not specified on the listing and added a good extra $200 to our trip. Also, nobody answers messages for hours. They didn't gave us the code prior to check in and we had to wait with bags and call. We were helped really well by a lady named Rayan(sorry if misspelled).

Absolutely great location, close to the train station. Very walkable, safe area. Lots of good restaurants and coffee shops within 15-20 minutes walking. Our unit ended up being on the top floor, so no noise complaints on our end. Cute studio that's a perfect home base for your Chicago trip!

My stay was lovely. Great room with neat surroundings. I was so comfortable, and the space was actuality larger tham expected. Super clean space and very accessible. They made check-in simple and it was a peaceful place to stay amidst the craziness of my trip! I would rate them a 10/10 and would definitely stay agiain!

Shower was not hot & no dresser. I was extremely frustrated with the check in process. I messaged the host multiple times 5 days before my stay to try to check in early. They never got back to me through the AirBnb app until right before I could check in which wasn’t helpful. They make you download another app to be able to do anything at all which was annoying. I finally got ahold of someone through the new app, but it’s all just random customer service people who don’t know anything / no phone number to call to talk to someone; even after 8 hours of messages, I got no real help. Even though I was at the room at 1215 and the maid was done cleaning and the room was ready, they kept telling me they didn’t know if I could check in early & they wouldn’t let me in the room. I had to constantly check a link to see if it was “available” and then at one point there was an option to pay $50 to go early but it’s only open for a short window and if you miss it you have to wait another hour
