Like everyone else, Diana and her place and Maia exceeded my expectations as well! But this is the first time I left and didn’t feel the need to hurry home to my own bed! I felt right at home the entire time I was there. The added benefit of a washer and dryer is huge with the unknown weather (although we had perfect weather the whole time!) My family of 3 had tons of space to spread out and enjoyed the rooftop jacuzzi, fresh fruit, snacks, meats and cheeses provided by Diana and even playing soccer in the street with local children. Everyone is super friendly and Maia is convenient to Nordeste for brilliant sunrises (keep that in mind if ur not an early riser) and close to Furnas and other hot spots (pun intended). Oh and the shower is huge and hot! Not the case at some of the hotels on the island we stayed at! Unless your family is bigger than 6 there is no reason not to stay here! And if it bigger than 6 stay at her other place across the street with the pool!

Foi tudo impecável, o apartamento tinha todas as comodidades necessárias e as camas eram confortáveis. Fomos recebidos com uma variedade de produtos locais e também nos era oferecido todas as manhãs pão e fruta. A anfitriã foi sempre bastante prestável. O apartamento era bem localizado para visitar os diversos pontos da ilha.

Alvarenga House boasts a desirable location, nestled near popular establishments such as Ribeiro's fruit/grocery store, Casa Cheia supermarket, the local pharmacy, and Maia village's top-rated restaurants. One of the local attractions, the natural pools, is conveniently located just a five-minute stroll from the residence. The house also offers a practical and safe access route to the sea. The property itself is generously spacious, welcoming, and highly comfortable. A standout feature is that all appliances and equipment in the house are brand new, ensuring maximum convenience for guests. Both the kitchen and bathroom are well-equipped with modern amenities. Additionally, the house contains a hot water jacuzzi and a well-maintained outdoor space, which is especially conducive for guests with pets. The hostess garners praise for her responsiveness and unwavering dedication to service, always primed to resolve any issues that guests might encounter. It is highly recommended! Five stars!

Diana is always available and makes you feel very welcome. The fresh food and drinks from het Frutaria are amazing. She and her colleagues are very friendly and helpfull. They made our stay unforgatable!

Super appartement , bien équipé . Bien situé , absolument charmant , au cœur du joli village de Maia. Toutes les activités de l’île étaient facilement accessibles avec une voiture . Belle terrasse sur le toit pour profiter d’un bon café en admirant la vue . Diana était une hôtesse exceptionnelle , toujours disponible . Elle était très généreuse , nous fournissant en fruits frais , fromage , lait et jus de fruits frais tous les matins. Ce logement est un incontournable . Notre séjour sur l’île a été absolument merveilleux ! Nous y retournerions sans hésiter !
