Great stay!

We booked based on pictures, however since we did not see the outside of the flat, we’re unaware that it was in a council block of flats. First night we smelt weed in the hallway and had weird noises from the building. We reported and requested to shorten our 22 nights to 5 as we didn’t feel safe. They agreed and refunded 50% of the unspent nights. On night 4, my husband woke up with bed bug bites at 2am. showered immediately, threw his clothes and slept on the sofa. We reported this the next morning with pictures of the bites on my husband’s body and they came for an inspection. looked for 5 mins and decided that there were no bed bugs and that the marks on his body could’ve been because of anything. After they left we continued tried to find one so that we could provide evidence. They kept asking for more pictures as if the bugs were waiting for a photoshoot. brushed it off saying it was “fluff” and denied all findings. We left the place straightaway! Completely traumatic experience!

Lovely flat - particularly liked the living room which was spacious, cosy and had two great sofa's for relaxing in! Owners very responsive and helpful, and got back to us immediately when we discovered a couple of missing items.
