Lucy was a great host, always responsive to messages and warm & friendly. The house is in a quiet and peaceful location but a very easy walk in to town or the bus stop which is so handy. We went in the Autumn and a cold house warmed up really quickly with the gas and electric heaters. We enjoyed our stay and did have to laugh at the quirky floors which sloped downwards! We dropped a star because the photo didn't show that a double bed was on a low pallet on the floor which made getting in and out tricky - a base would be much better for a couple. We also found that in the other room there was a bedside lamp but no option to plug it in so we could only use one. But overall, we knew what to expect from the photos and Lucy was an excellent host. We loved our stay in Mount Barker and really appreciated how safe we felt in Lucy's place. :)

Lucy was quick to respond house is very tired unfortunately the fridge/ freezer was revolting Lucy was very apologetic about it. We also had to wash the towels as they had a bad musty smell!! On the bright side was handy to shops lovely sunny front veranda and Lucy was happy for us to check in early.

We loved our stay at Lucy’s place! Local to everything, peaceful, cosy and nice and clean. I would definitely stay here again!

Had a great 5 day stay for 3 of us. Plenty of space. Very relaxing. Therefore only minor comments for improvements. Better pillows would have been good as would a few more plates but overall well equiped. Would stay again

Very relaxing stay, close to shops and restaurants. Easy access 🙂 Lucy was great with replying to messages. Overall enjoyed my stay at Lucy’s place.
