This is far and away the best of the (five, now) places we've stayed on Tiree. It is absolutely perfect for a couple + dog: clean & tidy, cosy with a wonderful log-burner (and plenty of logs and kindling, thank you, Martin) which is so good we barely used the electric wall heaters (the weather was absolutely howling - and therefore wonderful) ... once indoors we were snug as the proverbial bugs-in-a-rug. The kitchen is straightforward and really well equipped (especially the excellent Sage air-fryer / convection oven) with nice, mostly new, clean stuff. An hour of immersion heater provides lashings of hot water. The bed was not only large (I am 6'3" and had plenty of space) but (a) really comfortable and (b) furnished with a lovely proper downy duvet, good thick sheets and proper comfy feather pillows (and NOT the cheap synthetic nonsense you so often come across in Airbnbs). Location-wise, it's in the really lovely 'top left' (north west!) corner of the island. 100% recommend.

Idyllic cottage in a lovely location. Peaceful surroundings and great for exploring Tiree. Would recommend.

Our first visit to Tiree - so always a gamble with location - this was exactly what we had hoped for - total peace. The views were amazing and the sounds of lapwing were so beautiful. 5 minutes drive to park up for a wonderful beach and 15 mins to supplies at the local co-op. Tiree has been everything and more - and we really enjoyed our time and would recommend this for anyone looking for a comfortable and peaceful place to stay

Lovely cottage situated in a private location with Balevullin Beach just mins by car. The cottage had the light all day, early morning right around the house until sunset. The accommodation was perfect for a visit to the island. Comfortable seating in the kitchen with a cozy log burner for any cold evenings. A pulley above the burner meant damp clothes could be dried inside if not out on the line. The Sonos amp in the kitchen allowed us to connect music by linking through the cottage wifi and a smart TV in the lounge had plenty of channels, but we never had it on. We were too busy enjoying the peace and listening to the elusive corncrake in the fields around the cottage. The kitchen had all the essentials a grill/oven/air fryer on the worktop and an induction hob could be plugged in. The secure garden kept a little old dog happy as he plodded about. Would happily return to the cottage, in fact wish we didn’t have to leave at all. Lovely, thank you Martin.
