Great location close to public transit and walking distance to cafés, a market and Paseo de la Castellana. We enjoyed having a terrace to ourselves. Beautiful building

Located near the city center with clean common areas, but the apartment is poorly maintained, full of clutter meriting an overall experience of 3. However, the checkout process was horrible, rating below 0, leading to a final rating of 1. Immediate issues included a single set of keys, prompting us to make a duplicate, and pay for it. Maintenance was neglected; we replaced light bulbs and reported bathroom tiles before they were fixed. Elevator issues led us to get stuck twice and the partment being on the seventh floor meant frequent stair use. Checkout was distressing; a 2-hour delay resulted in our belongings being discarded in the hallway. Items were missing, including prescription drugs and food, and retrieving them felt demeaning. The host, Daniel, was hostile, threatening extra charges, and dismissively told us to "Go home tourists" before hanging up. Given the poor maintenance, safety concerns, and disrespectful checkout, we advise against this host.
