We have stayed here before many times…for our family it feels like going to our OWN cottage. The owner is very responsive and friendly and there are no better views than on the porch over looking the water. If it is a peaceful paradise you seek and a beach with a million dollar view look no further than this cottage!

Beautiful view! It doesn't get much better than Lake Michigan and sandy dunes for a week. House was clean, with a reasonably well equipped kitchen. My husband and I struggle to sleep in a queen bed, so I slept upstairs in the loft with the kids. It did get quite warm in the loft area (as lofts do) so we would bring some light weight blankets to fit the beds next time. (A king bed would make this beach house AMAZING.) My mother-in-law just had a knee replacement, so she loved to sit on the bench just a few stairs down on the landing and still watch the kiddos play in the sand and waves. We had a great time, and hardly left the beach other than to visit Mac Woods Dune Rides. Thank you for sharing your beach house with us, Vicki!

This was a beautiful location and the cottage was exactly as pictured! Overall it was a great stay for us! Vickie was very responsive to questions and provided lots of helpful advice. Only downside for us was no air conditioning. When outdoors the breeze from the lake definitely helped but inside with fans and windows open it was too hot for a few hours in late afternoon early evening. If we didn’t have a very active two year old sitting outside would have solved that but it was around her nap time for part of it. This was probably more of a “us” situation with a two year old and definitely not a deal breaker for us on choosing this cottage again but thought I would mention it in case anyone is sensitive to heat or had breathing issues when air quality is bad!

This is such a beautiful place. We unfortunately had a cooler week, so we missed out on some of the beach time, but still had a lot of fun playing board games and putting together puzzles. When it did warm up, the beach is great. Plenty of space to spread out, very clear water, and accessible sand bars. The view from the house is wonderful too. And the fire table on the deck is a nice place to sit and listen to the water. Decent amenities inside. Good water pressure. Our group was fine in the loft with the cooler weather, but on a hotter week, getting the windows open overnight and shut back up in the morning would be important. The hosts are very responsive and helpful. We had an amazing time, and wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend.

My husband and I spent Memorial week with some friends and family at the lake house and had the best time. The location was idyllic, peaceful, and the sunset view did not disappoint. There was plenty of space for the family to gather without feeling on top of each other. The kitchen was well-stocked and made cooking dinner for the group each night a breeze. We had a great time walking and hanging out on the beach. There was plenty of seating and sleeping arrangements. We brought our small dog, who also had a great time! We don’t travel with her too often and this was a stress-free experience. The water heater went kaput on our second day, and when we contacted Vickie, she was quick to respond and had the repairs taken care of immediately – on a holiday weekend no less. Could not have been treated better. Would visit again in a heartbeat – highly recommend.
