Had a lovely stay at Cobb Cottage! The cottage itself was extremely clean and tidy, and had all of the necessary amenities & more. Location is ideal for a peaceful country getaway, and a great base to explore the local areas! The host was extremely responsive & provided some really good recommendations - overall, would highly recommend!
This is such a lovely place to stay! From the tranquil countryside location and views to the warmth and cosiness of the cottage, with everything you could want provided, you couldn't ask for more for a perfect long weekend (or longer!). The good (for once!) weather was a huge bonus, but if it had been awful and the beautiful surroundings not quite so tempting to explore, the cottage would have been difficult to leave with comfortable couches, TV, music and board games for entertainment, a well stocked kitchen, and a gloriously comfortable bed. Alex was the perfect host, with first class communication and thoughtfulness regarding requests that we had and any issues we might encounter. It was all very very nice indeed.
Lovely quiet cottage, beautifully maintained and as described. It's a lovely area, and Alex's advice on what to do and on local shops/pubs was very insightful. The cottage was clean, and every machine and utensil was in good working order and new. We enjoyed the peace and quiet.
Wonderful stay at Alex's cottage. We enjoyed a 2 day break in this beautiful place but could definitely have stayed longer. It's very peaceful, with only the sounds of birds. There are some lovely local walks and a village shop and pub very close by.. There was everything we needed and more but without being cluttered and the whole place was immaculately clean. Alex was very communicative and sent very clear and comprehensive instructions. Highly recommend this little country side gem.
Lovely cottage in a beautiful village surrounded by beautiful nature. The cottage had everything we needed and had tons of wood for the chimney. It was very clean and the communication with the owner was very good. Super comfy bed. We would definitely consider coming back.
