A friend described San Carlos Fish Cottage as “old Florida charming”. If shiny white tile, nightlife, and beaches are what you are looking for, maybe go elsewhere. Carlos’ cottage is one of the few remaining old Florida places still available through Airbnb, yet has everything you need for a relaxing, stress-free visit in paradise. Beautiful setting on a canal with boat dock. Clean, plenty of fresh towels and sheets, all necessary cooking equipment. Carlos is very responsive and got back to me immediately whenever I contacted him. A unique Florida experience, enjoy. (FYI, if you have mobility or balance issues, the clawfoot tub/shower could be an issue).

Very clean and felt at home. Provided wi/fi speakers, all paper products and toiletries. Very comfortable. Lot better than our last stay in Florida a year ago. N ver had to contact him for anything. He promised and delivered. Would not hesitate to return.
