We loved our stay. The farm was very peaceful, and the animals were friendly. It was the exact weekend getaway we needed. The hosts were very friendly and gave us plenty of space but still said hello and answered our questions about the farm. They definitely went above and beyond. 10/10

Peaceful and was worried about the “farm animal” sound but woke up at 9AM on my own and would have gone back to sleep but had to start my day. The place was perfect.

I am so happy we chose Dathan’s place to stay. Directions were easy and as we arrived a little later than we anticipated, the lighting was both handy for identification and very welcoming! It was a perfect fit for us as we were visiting family in New Market. Everything was exactly as listed so there were no unpleasant surprises. It was very clean and the bed was comfy. The animals were a bonus to me and I have some cute pics of my husband with the llamas. 😊 I will definitely stay here again when I come back to visit.

Dathan is such a a gracious host. Always thinking ahead for anything we need. we always enjoy staying here.

We really enjoyed staying at The Rusty Bug Ranch. Peaceful surroundings, friendly animals. Good space to just hang out. It happened to be very chilly weather when we were there but Dathan hooked us up with extra space heaters. Our dog enjoyed interacting with the llamas and geese. Would definitely stay again!
