We booked a weekend getaway that evolved to a mission to help some dear friends find some peace and solace in the wake of the death of their father and husband. The house was absolutely beautiful: gorgeous porches and places to appreciate their beautiful location and listen to the birds. There was space for adults, children, and babies to gather altogether, and enough private spaces so all could separate for baby naps or my friend to feel her grief privately and stare at the sunset. The hosts have deer, ducks, geese, and even a friendly feral kitty that my girls ADORED chasing around the backyard. The location is far enough off Main St that it feels private, but very close to town and Assateague Island. And the place was meticulously clean: absolutely immaculate inside and out. I would enjoy staying here with a group of adults, but it accommodated our children (infant, toddler, school-aged) very well: they loved the game room, bunk beds, yard, and porches. We would love to come back!

My stay here was an absolute delight! Kevin was very responsive and friendly. I even had the pleasure of meeting him and his wife during my stay and they are absolutely great people. This place feels just like home and had everything we needed. My stay actually exceeded my expectations. It was very clean and smelled good. I’m one of those that does a double cleaning upon my arrival and I didn’t find any marks on my wipes. The home is in a very quiet neighborhood with great views and seafood. There are 2 cats that may come wandering but they are no bother at all. Highly recommended!

We had such a wonderful weekend staying here. The house is very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We saw the ponies, did a boat tour of the island, had drinks at the tiki bar, climbed the lighthouse and collected some shells on the beach. Kevin, the host, was kind enough to message me about the impending storm that was expected on our weekend. As the storm got closer, we decided it was best to reschedule our trip. Kevin was not only caring, but very accommodating for allowing us to reschedule when it was convenient for us. I highly recommend this home, as it is perfect for any type of getaway!

It is a brand new house located on a quiet lot. The view is great. The kitchen is lovely. We did get a chance to use the various exercises equipments. We had a nice stay there.
