We loved staying at Chris's place. The scenery was beautiful, the house was very well stocked. The driveway was a bit of a challenge, but we were warned in advance and there are plans to fix it soon. We would love to come back again.

The house and scenery were great. overall, we enjoyed the stay. My review is heavily based on the host failing to mention how bad the access is. Mainly the road in (approx 100m in) I drive a CX-9 SUV, and the rocky and uneven road has caused damage to my suspension and tyres. a sedan/hatch would struggle to get in, and an inexperienced driver could be at risk. This is definitely something that needs attention or, at the very least, should be noted in the ad.

Members of my family stayed here, and were delighted with the facilities and the location, with fabulous views in all directions. Their one misgiving was about access. The way in was rough for a car, and they felt it was only suitable for an experienced driver, or preferably someone with a 4WD.

Our family had a lovely relaxing weekend at Chris & Sarah’s place. The house was clean, comfortable & well stocked with the basics & some extras we weren’t expecting! The whole family enjoyed using the games that were there, the hammocks on the verandah & the fire pit! The property is very private & has amazing views. Walking around the property itself was lovely & it is only a short drive to Lake Lyell, Lithgow or the smaller towns nearby.

Chris and Sarah's place was an absolute dream getaway for the long weekend. The house itself is so comfortable - feels very homely. The highlight definitely has to be the property though - amazing scenery of the mountains, the sunset, the clearest view of the milky way. The forest surrounding the property is so lovely and calming to walk through, especially as the sun is lower and the shafts of light peak through the leaves. There is just so much space. We even saw a wombat! Furthermore, Chris and Sarah were very considerate, kitchen and other supplies were well (and thoughtfully) stocked, and they responded promptly to any of my queries. The shower pressure is amazing which was great after long walks. The location itself is very convenient too - so close to the pub, Woolworths just a short drive away. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a relaxing and refreshing getaway, absolutely surrounded in natural beauty. I look forward to future stays! Best Wishes, Denzil
