We had a lovely time at Birdsong and everything provided for our stay was great and delicious. We loved the garden outlook and the bbq amenities. It is a well established and well maintained property, the gardens are beautiful and everything was sparkling clean and we immediately felt relaxed and welcomed by Anna

We are a family of 4 and totally blown away with the cleanliness, generosity and high standard of the amenities. The photos really don't do it justice. The gardens are lovely to walk around in and the cabins are very private. There are thoughtful touches such as magazines, DVD's, fluffy pillows and bathrobes and fully equipped kitchen and laundry. Its very stylish. We also liked the location as it is quiet. We think that KeriKeri is a better option than Paihia as it didn't have all the crowds but still had great shops, food options and was still very close to the Bay of Islands. 5 star.
What a beautiful experience! The place is exactly as you see in the photos incredible nice house. The host was very helpful in answering our questions and enjoyed our stay.

Anna and her partner Murray are born New Zealanders, though of English, Scottish and Irish origin! After many years working, living and travelling around New Zealand and overseas, we have made Kerikeri in the beautiful Bay of Islands our home. Treghan Luxury Lodge offers guests a home away from home, something we found really important during our travels. So, each of our gorgeous guesthouses and cottages is designed as a unique,luxurious, personal space giving you the freedom to enjoy your stay in utmost tranquility without constant interruptions. We wanted to offer guests a space truly their own - with secluded living and sheltered decks to laze on - just the kind of holiday space we both enjoy!
