Located in the middle of the Oneida/Vilas County trail system with over 1600 miles of trails. We have direct access to the trail from our location, less than 200 yards from our property. Our location is less than a mile from SLO’s and (2) miles from downtown Woodruff. We have plenty of on site parking and a “SledShed” that you can drive thru and keep your machines out elements at night. It’s the perfect location with easy trail access so join us and “Hit the Trail!” The property sits on 2 Acres and has plenty of room to maneuver your sleds or ATV’s without ever getting in a tight space. The Cottage may look like a simple home on the outside, but once inside it has all the character and charm of a cabin in the Northwoods. We have left the original kitchen to give it the old school look, its in immaculate condition, (we hope you keep it that way) we just didn’t have the heart to tear it out, we hope you can appreciate the original look as much as we do. The rest of the cabin has new flooring all the walls are knotty pine giving it that north woods cabin feel.

We had a wonderful stay at ""Hit the Trail"! Everything was just as described and Shane was a terrific host. He contacted us before check in to make sure we could get in easily and that we could contact him for anything we needed. It felt homey and clean. And it had all the necessities for our stay. I only wish Mother Nature had been as good of a host and given us snow so we could have gone snowmobiling like the trip was intended. Shane's place is set up perfect for it and we will be back next year to do just that.

Wonderful check in and check out. The place was so cozy and perfect for our group of 5. Everything was clean. Even a washer and dryer in basement. Love the area and how quiet it was. Host was above and beyond. Best AirBnB host we’ve had. Very responsive and kind. Definitely planning our snowmobile trip here. Thank you Shane for a wonderful place to stay and the help you provided.

Shane has got to be the coolest host on AirBnb. He went above and beyond to accommodate use with special needs for our stay which was totally awesome. His cabin is exactly you would expect and up north getaway to feel like, smell like, and look like. Simply and amazing cabin in the north woods not too far from Minocqua with plenty to do. 10/10 WILL stay again.
