Nestled at the foot of stunning Red Butte, the Bird's Nest is a sweet retro camper hidden behind the main house. Enjoy patio or grill & firepit area & absorb the desert landscape of Saguaros, Sonoran natural desert cactus & trees, birds & bunnies in abundance. May have sightings of coyotes, bobcats or javelina. At night, the music of the coyote jamborees soars up to the brilliant stars! Outdoor electric-warmed shower, camp sink & portapotty toilet. Beautiful desert location in SW Tucson, near Gates Pass, Saguaro National Park West, & Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum. An ideal location for hikers, birdwatchers, & artists. You'll be nesting in an adorable retro camper! There is a bed for 2 and the option of turning the dining area into a sleeper (best for only 1). There is a kitchenette with coffee maker & microwave. Larger fridge is outside on patio. Parking is under the carport. WiFi is available. Sit in your own side patio and watch the hummingbirds & teeming wildlife, including bunnies, quail, doves, woodpeckers, cactus wren, and, hopefully, the red tail hawks soaring above Red Butte. Listen to the coyote jamboree in the evenings & the owls hoot at night. You have a private propane fire pit (if it runs out, please fill it) and Grill. There is an outdoor, electric-warmed shower, camping sink, portapotty. There is a larger communal fire pit nearby if you’d like to warm your hands and stargaze. The camper is next to the main house at the end of the drive. The camper is dog friendly (same daily price with a fee) & there are dogs in residence on the unfenced property.
