Nurka and her husband are extremely nice and they have a beautiful place , very convenient if you need to stay close to the airport.

henrike, the husband from spain, communicated very nicely. the rooms are very clean and everything seems to be new. the house is just off the highway (you can hear the traffic) and the village is not nice. the beach is a 20m long stand strip on a riff. there's no hot water in the bathroom (it's not just not working. you can get a bucket with hot water if needed). they didn't apologise but claimed not to have solar energy (no one has - 96% of the electricity in Cuba is generated from fossil fuels). we were served jam for breakfast which expired 10 months ago. they weren't surprised and didn't apologise. the beer they're selling is the cheapest you can get in Cuba (and the most tasteless one). internet costs extra. all in all it seems like they're just there to rip off tourists who stay there for a night before flying out. at the beginning of our 3 week journey we stayed in mantanzas (15 min away par car) in a place for less, including hot water and internet.

We have stayed at Niruka’s place again before our departure to Canada ; we just love this place. They have the best food in all the Cuba ; all the meals were 5* chef quality made by Niurka. Miguel and Niurka are so nice and generous … they helped us with our extended stay due to our flight delays .. showed us places to visit in the area, found us transportation and even the barber for my boyfriend :) We will definitely go back here when we go to Varadero ! They are the best !
